New Zealand’s 31-year old Jeffrey Twigg was so upset with the World Cup 2019 result that he did not get out of the bed for 46-days. Twigg went to sleep on the morning of July 15th after the World Cup 2019 final between New Zealand and England ended. Twigg was supposed to wake up at 5 pm on 15th but when his wife Louisa went to wake him up he started groaning.

She was concerned at the beginning but slowly started to lose sympathy day by day. Louisa started feeding her husband through a tube and even reached the New Zealand cricket team for help.

Martin Guptill, who did not have a great World Cup with the bat paid a visit to the man but when Twigg came to know it was Guptill he yelled at him. Twigg got insane and said, “I don’t want to see him.” Louisa has removed everything associated with the New Zealand cricket team even a backyard cricket set and satellite connection.

New Zealand lost to England after a nail-biting final on July 15. The game saw the first-ever super over in the history of ODI cricket which ended in a draw. The trophy was awarded to England over their superior boundary rate.
