MS Dhoni run-out causes controversy, watch and decide if he's out or not-out

MS Dhoni became a victim of an unfortunate run-out last night against Mumbai Indians which turned out to be a game-changing moment in the finals. MS Dhoni came in to bat in a crucial moment of the game as opener Shane Watson was going good he was losing partners at the other end. Dhoni was needed to bat patiently and chase down the target.

But during the 13th over of the second innings, MS Dhoni was run-out by Ishan Kishan off Hardik Pandya’s ball. The on-field umpire signaled to the third umpire for a review. Third umpire Nigel Llong took his time to take the decision as he was viewing it from different angles. The extra time created confusion among fans of CSK and they felt that it was not-out.


 

Mumbai Indians defended 149 runs as they beat Chennai Super Kings by 1 run to lift their fourth IPL title.
