Ishant Sharma's engagement goes viral, but Rohit sees the funny side of it!
Indian seamer Ishant Sharma joined the list of cricketers who have been getting hitched in a row since last year, after his grand engagement ceremony with national basketball star Pratima Singh, on 19 June.
Though the wedding day is yet to be decided, the Delhi cricketer exchanged rings with his lady love. The ceremony was attended by family members, relatives and some close friends.
Ishant's fiancee, who currently plays for the national team, started playing basketball in 2003 for Uttar Pradesh. Three of her sisters are also part of the Indian women's national basketball team.
As soon as news of Ishant's engagement went viral, his teammate Rohit Sharma wasted little time in pulling his leg while congratulating the couple. Pointing to the occasion, Rohit joked that Ishant could have cut off his hair for this one day, at least!

Ishant's hair has been a constant feature throughout his career, which witnessed him being trolled for his locks and bowling figures alike. It seems there was no respite for him on this auspicious day as well!
