IPL 2020: Virat Kohli's RCB announce support staff for upcoming season

Ahead of the Indian Premier League 2020, Royal Challengers Bangalore has made changes in its coaching staff and support staff. After relieving Gary Kirsten and Ashish Nehra from their role of Head coach and bowling coach, the management has announced a new support staff.

Former Team India trainer Shanker Basu has made a return to RCB as he has been appointed as the strength and conditioning coach of the franchise for the IPL in 2020. Evan Speechly, Malolan Rangarajan, Major Soumyadeep Pyne are the Team Physio, Head of Scouting and Team Manager respectively.


RCB recently appointed former New Zealand coach Mike Hesson as Director of cricket operations and Simon Katich as head coach.

Mike Hesson- Director of Cricket Operations

Simon Katich- Head Coach

Adam Griffith- Bowling Coach

Sridharan Sriram- Batting and Spin-bowling Coach

Shankar Basu- Strength and Conditioning Coach

Evan Speechly- Team Physio

Malolan Rangarajan- Head of Scouting

Major Soumyadeep Pyne- Team Manager
