IPL is presently world's biggest and most sought-after cricket event that includes players from all the continents. Whenever, there is a discussion involving the most successful teams in the Indian Premier League, the name of two teams naturally pops up. Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. The two heavyweights from the previous seasons will be against each other at Wankhede stadium in the opening match of Indian Premier League's 11th season.


Speaking of CSK, MS Dhoni is back in the role of leading Chennai after franchise served a two-year ban. Mumbai has won the title thrice in years 2013, 2015 and 2017 whereas, Chennai has been able to achieve the feat twice. Dhoni has led CSK in 8 seasons and they have been able to make it to the playoffs every single time making Chennai the most consistent of IPL.

Both the teams have managed to retain their crucial players. Mumbai has kept its player intact and CSK has also managed to do the same. The only difference being the time period. CSK has brought back the players it played with two years back whereas Mumbai has been continuously playing with a major part of its present squad.
