India Vs England: This Army presents 'International Player of the Year' award to Virat Kohli

England's popular fan club Barmy Army honoured the Indian skipper Virat Kohli with the International Player of the Year award for the year 2017-18.

India’s only warm-up match before the five-Test match series against England is going against Essex at County Ground, Chelmsford.


BCCI on their official Twitter handle, shared the picture of the 29-year-old posing with the award and said, "The @TheBarmyArmy presents #TeamIndia Captain @imVkohli with the International Player of the Year for years 2017 and 2018."

For the preparation of England Tests Indian team  are underway three day warm-up games.  At stumps, India were 322 for 6 in 84 overs. Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya were at strike on 82(94) and 33(58) respectively.

When India toured England last time under the leadership of MS Dhoni. The Indian squad lost the five-match Test series by the margin of 3-1. The first match was ended with tie.
