As per reported in Indian Express "Wriddhiman's rehabilitation has been a complete goof up. The NCA physio has bungled it big time. Now only a surgery can put him back on track. Once he is done with surgery, he will not touch the bat for at least two months and then rehab will start," a senior BCCI official told PTI.

The five tests match series starting on August 1 and will be concluding on 11the september.

Rishabh Pant, the young wicket-keeper batsman has been selected in Indian test squad. Keeping in the mind, Pant's terrific performance in IPL 2018 cleared his way to the Indian test squad.

In his 24 innings of first class cricket he amassed the runs at an average of 54.16 including his superb triple ton in his career. He had also fastest ton to his name in first class cricket.

India's chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav is one of the top player to be included in Indian squad while an injured Jasprit Bumrah is likely to miss out on the first three Tests.

After the 3rd ODI in Headingley, when Virat Kohli asked about the test squad in post match reprenstation then he replied that squad is quite pretty.

As per reported in Times Now Kohli cited that “Our squad is pretty settled. We are really excited to be going into a lengthy Test series. It is going to be very challenging, but something that we are looking forward to as a side. We want to play hard cricket. We want to play tough cricket, which I’m sure the English team would provide us. It is going to be a hard-fought series between two quality sides.”
