After losing the series 3-1 in Southampton, Virat Kohli's men will take on England for the fifth and final Test match of the summer at the Oval, London. When Virat Kohli takes the field at the Oval, he should look to bridge the gap and make it 2-3 at Oval.

For England, Jos Buttler and Stuart Broad holds the key as he would like to drag the innings and get to around 259. The Indian bowlers were relentless with their lines and lengths on day 1, but have struggled to get rid of the tail in the series.

Ishant (3/39) picked up three wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah (3/64) and Ravindra Jadeja (2/70) struck twice each to trigger England's collapse in the final session of the opening day.

With the departure of Alastair Cook for 71, England lost five more at the expense of just 49 runs to stand at 198 for seven at stumps on Day 1.
