England paceman Sam Curran and Ben Stokes thrashed the Indian batting line-up. England paceman Sam Curran scalped 3 wickets while Ben Stokes scalped 2 wicket.

India removed the tail swiftly. India’s got a decent start. Virat Kohli's men are set for the five-Test match series. England won the toss and opted to bat first.


England wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler bowled for a duck by Ravichandra Ashwin. In the first innings of India he got injured and has gone to a local hospital for an X-Ray on his left middle finger.

Ravichandra Ashwin and Mohammed Shami scalped 4 wickets and 3 wickets respectively for the Indian side.

England skipper Joe Root top scored for the hosts with a fluent 80 runs but his run out from a brilliant throw by Indian Virat Kohli sparked their demise.
