Virat Kohli's led Indian cricket team is currently on the English shores for a five-match Test series. Indian team are already 2-0 down in the series.

Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag posted a inspirational message on the ocassion of Independence Day.

Now Virat Kohli's men are gearing up for the third Test at Trent Bridge which begins from August 18.

Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter and shared a picture with a flag. He said "Everything in life is hard-earned. Just like our independence. Among countless other things, there would have been no 'Team India' if not for the sacrifice of our brave freedom fighters. Let us not take that freedom for granted. #HappyIndependenceDay."

 

Indian Legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar took retirement from international cricket in 2013. Tendulkar played 200 Tests and 463 ODIs.

While former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag took twitter and shared a beautful poem on the ocassion of Independence Day.

Virat Kohli led Indian cricket team are currently 2-0 down in the five-match series after losing the first Test at Edgbaston by 31 runs and at Lord's by an innings and 159 runs.
