Winning or losing the toss can decide the fate of a cricket match. In the history of the cricket, there have been many matches whose fate have been predicted by the toss.
Cricket ground has seen its fair share of joyous as well embarrassing moment unfolds on the field. A really hilarious incident took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru during the 4th ODI on 29th September between men in blue and Australia.
Both Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Australian skipper Steve Smith had arrived on the playground for the toss. Kohli held the coin before tossing it in the air and in a major goof-up the 28-year-old slipped the coin from his hand and instead of going up the coin falls flat on the ground and everyone ends up laughing.
After the incident, the anchor Sanjay Manjrekar burst out laughing and Smith was seen giggling upon which Chopra said, “I have never seen anything like this.”
BCCI shared the video on Twitter and wrote, “Australia win the toss. Elect to bat first in the 4th Paytm ODI at Bengaluru #INDvAUS.”
Steve Smith won the toss and chose to bat first. The men in blue led by Virat Kohli had already won the series and their eyes are set on the clean sweep. While on the other hand, Aussie team will play to restore their honour.
