CWC 2019: Teams who have unveiled ‘home’ & ‘away’ kits for World Cup 2019

The ICC World Cup 2019 has been quite different from all its past editions, espicially with respect to the International cricket board’s new rule of home and away kit.

According to the rule ICC has gone for two different sets of jersey that have contrasting shades, this step was taken simply to make the opponents more vivid when teams with similar jersey colours are playing.

While on the other hand England being the host will play in their same kit throughout, Pakistan has been granted the permission to wear green kit against teams like South Africa and Bangladesh who also sport green.

India, Afghnistan and Sri Lanka will have to wear their away jersey while playing each other as they have identical kit with blue shade on it. On the other hand Australia, New Zealand and West Indies have been exempted given their unique colours.

“For televised ICC events all participating teams will be required to provide for two different coloured kits, except for the host country who has a preference in the choice of colour and may, if it chooses to do so, provide only one coloured kit to be worn in all matches throughout the event. In advance of the event the teams will be notified which coloured kit will be worn in each match,” the ICC said.

Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka have already disclosed their away jerseys while conjectures looms over India’s away kit which is yet to be revealed.
