BCCI on Thursday released a video of Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowling in the nets and captioned it “look who’s back in the nets.”

Viewing the incident as a major boost for team India ahead of the clash against West Indies. The 29 year old pacer got injured in the match against Pakistan and was sidelined for two matches.

In his absence, Mohammed Shami was inducted for the clash against Afghanistan where he instantly made an impact. The pacer took a hattrick and concluded with a bowling figures of 40/4 in his come back match. Bhuvneshwar Kumar may still be rested in the match against the Windies on Thursday as India would want him to recover fully.

Bhuvineshwar Kumar had taken five wickets in two matches before getting injured in the clash against the arch foes Pakistan. It will be interesting to watch if team India picks Bhuvi ahead of in-form Mohammed Shami after he is fit to play.

India is currently third placed team in the points table with four wins in their five matches, with one match against New Zealand being abandoned due to rain.

India will go face to face with West Indies on June 27th at Old Trafford cricket ground.
