Hardik Pandya’s female friend Krystle D’Souza posted a picture on Instagram congratulating him for his fantastic Indian Premier League performance. One Instagram user directed a racist comment towards the cricketer.

Krystle posted the image on Instagram with a caption "Mere Bhai Jaisa Koi Hard ich Nahi Hai #brotherfromanothermother".

The Instagram user commented, “Kaalu bhai. Aap West indies team ke world cup squad main select kyun nahi huye?"

Not only Krystle D’Souza and Aparshakti Khurana but fans also came into Hardik’s defence and bashed the user.

“I think you should not write such comments and definitely not use such language. We all love Hardik because he is a performer. You should rather encourage the Indian team, especially before the World Cup,” actor Aparshakti Khurana commented.

D’Souza replied to Khurana’s comment and said, “That's so well put! People are so mean and obnoxious and just because they are sitting behind a screen typing, they think they can get away with anything! I guess ignorance is bliss in this case! Their words make no difference to his superb performance... BUT thank you.”

Hardik Pandya is having a great IPL season as he has performed with both bat and ball for his team and helped Mumbai Indians qualify for the play-offs. Mumbai started their IPL season poorly but went on to occupy the top spot before the league matches ended. Hardik is also part of India’s 15-member World Cup squad that will travel to England and Wales this year.
