India launched its second mission to the moon at 2:45 pm IST. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched Chandrayaan-2 after the mission was called off on July 15 due to a technical glitch. The Chandrayaan-2 mission was launched on Bahubali (GSLV Mk-III) rocket and will reach the surface of the moon after spending 48 days in the Earth orbit.

The predecessor of this mission was launched in 2008 which was named Chandrayaan-1 and it discovered water on the surface of the moon. The Chandrayaan-2 will land on the south pole of the moon and India will become the first country to explore the southernmost region of the natural satellite.

Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh today wished the Indian space organisation for its exceptional accomplishment and also took the opportunity to troll Pakistan. Harbhajan Singh took to his official Twitter handle to troll the neighbouring country. Harbhajan wrote, “Some countries have moon on their flags. While some countries having their flags on moon. Former Indian cricketer also shared the flag of Pakistan along with other nations who have moon on their flags.

India just the fourth country who has sent a man-made object to the moon after the United States of America, Russia and China.
