Indian skipper Virat Kohli is on the verge of adding another to his glittering cap in the opening Test of the five-match series against England at the Edgbaston cricket ground in Birmingham.

The run-machine, Virat Kohli will become 13th Indian cricketer to score 1000 runs against England. He scored 977 runs at an average of 44.40 against England.


In the list of scoring 1000 runs against England Sachin Tendulkar tops the chart with 2535 runs including seven centuries and 13 half-centuries at an average of 51.73.
