David Warner is currently on a high after he made his comeback to international cricket. David Warner has scored two centuries in the ongoing World Cup and is currently the highest run-scorer with 447 runs. David Warner also achieved a milestone in the process which players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli couldn’t.

David Warner became the first batsman in the world to score two 150+ scores in World Cup history. Warner scored 166 runs off 147 balls against Bangladesh today, which included 14 boundaries and 5 maximums. The first time David Warner scored 150+ runs in World Cup was against Afghanistan in 2015 as he hit 178 runs.


David Warner is also the second batsman in the list of most number of 150+ runs in ODI cricket after Rohit Sharma. David Warner has 6 150+ runs while Rohit Sharma has achieved the milestone for 7 times in ODI cricket. Warner also registered the highest individual score of this tournament with 166 runs. Warner scored his 16th ODI century and became the joint second fastest to do so in ODI cricket after Hashim Amla. Warner holds the record with Indian skipper Virat Kohli who also achieved the record from 110 innings.

David Warner was the highest run scorer in the Indian Premier League 2019 and won the orange cap for his extraordinary performance.
