Indian cricketer Karn Sharma has won three continuous Indian Premier League titles from 2016 to 2018 and he the only player to do so in the history of the league. Sharma who made his debut in 2009 with Royal Challengers Bangalore was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2013 and won an IPL title with them in 2016.

In 2017, he was bought by Mumbai Indians and won IPL title with them as well. Chennai Super Kings bought him in 2018 and he won the IPL title for them in their comeback season.

Karn has been retained by Chennai Super Kings for 2019 season and it would be interesting to see if he can do wonders again. Karn has 53 wickets from 61 matches and his best bowling figure is 4/16, which he achieved in 2017 with Mumbai Indians.

The Indian Premier League’s 12th edition begins today with the blockbuster encounter between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The match will be played at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram stadium.
