Legendary spinner Shane Warne has lost a bet to former India cricketer Sourav Ganguly following which the former Australian player will now don the jersey of arch-rival England.
The bet was placed about the match between England and Australia.
The cricket great tweeted that he will honour his word by wearing the jersey of England.
"@SGanguly99 Trying to get an England ODI shirt sent to me so I can wear it in honour of our bet. Will tweet a picture asap ! 😩 #CT17," tweeted Warne.
How it happened
According to former Australia captain Michael Clarke, India and Australia would have been the finalists of the Champions Trophy but Ganguly thought that England will have a good run.
Following Ganguly's prediction, Warne immediately claimed that England won't even win their Group A match against Australia. This is how the bet was placed.
