Bangladeshi cricketer got married at the age of 16, wife accuses him of torture over $12,000 dowry
After the Bangaldeshi batsman Sabbir Rahman who was warned by the country's cricket board for threatening a fan on social media now an another middle-order batsman Mosaddek Hossain has been caught in a sensational controversy.
The 22 year old, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, who married his cousin Sharmin Samira Usha six years ago, accused by his wife of torturing her over dowry. This batsman has been included in the Bangladesh squad for the upcoming Asia Cup to be held from September 13-28 in the UAE.
She alleged that her cricketer husband drove her out of their home earlier this month and demanded 1 million taka (INR 840133.09, USD 12,003).

Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Rosina Khan admitted the charges brought by Usha against the middle-order batsman yesterday and ordered the Sadar Upazila executive officer to investigate the case, as per reported in bdnews24.
The cricketer's brother Mosabber Hossain Moon cited that "They have been in disagreement since they married."
"She has started the case after spreading false and misleading information as she did not get the money," Mosabber Hossain alleged.
