Amritsar Train Accident: Pakistan's Shahid Afridi expresses his grief over Amritsar train tragedy on Dussehra eve

Amritsar Train Accident: Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi expressed his grief over the Amritsar train tragedy that happened on the occasion of Dussehra celebration in Amritsar. Afridi took Twitter to express his condolences over the death of 60 people watching Dussehra event on Friday when train rams over the crowd.

“Really tragic incident in India. Condolences with the affected families may Allah give them the strength to overcome the loss. May Allah protect us all,” Shahid Afridi tweeted.


Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan also took to Twitter to express his condolence and his post read, “Saddened to learn of the tragic train accident in Amritsar India. Condolences go to the families of the deceased.”

 

Shoaib Akhtar also expressed his grief as he retweeted Imran Khan’s post with a comment.

The Pakistani cricketer won the Indian hearts over the internet for standing by their neighbouring country during the hard phase.
