Sonakshi Sinha's Akira to hit the screens on 2 September
Actress Sonakshi Sinha is currently wrapping up the work on her action thriller, Akira. While she had previously said that her film would release on 23 September, it has now been revealed that the release date of the AR Murgadoss directorial has been moved up.
Sonakshi took to Twitter to announce the new release date. She posted:
"Because you and I both cant wait to see how AR Murugadoss has transformed me in Akira... We are now releasing on September 2!"
The 29-year-old actress is all set to stun the audience with her action-packed avtar in the film for which she has undergone intensive workout sessions. Sonakshi will be seen performing martial arts in the film.
Akira will be the Lootera star's second film with Murugadoss after Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty.
The film also features her father actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha.
