Shah Rukh Khan has declined a role in a film starring Jackie Chan backed by a big Hollywood studio due to issues with dates. After wrapping up Dilwale, Shah Rukh will finish shooting for Fan and Raees which release next year. Shah Rukh Khan has also signed Aditya Chopra's next romantic film for which he starts shooting late next year.

According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, Shah Rukh Khan was offered the role of an Indian techie who would go on a crazy ride with Jackie Chan. After a couple of meetings with the producers, Khan dropped the idea of being part of the film.

Aamir Khan too had been offered a role with Jackie Chan after the success of his film PK in China. Jackie Chan had approached the actor with the concept of an Indo-Chinese production titled Kung Fu Yoga. But since the actor had already signed Nitesh Tiwari's Dangal, he declined.
