A few days back we revealed that the music rights of Kabir Khan's Tubelight starring Salman Khan have been sold to Sony Music for a record breaking amount of Rs 20 crore.
Soon after that, Sony Music acquired the rights of Shah Rukh Khan’s yet untitled film directed by Imtiaz Ali for a whooping amount, but the acquisition price was not out in the public domain. And now it is revealed that Sony Music has paid a sum of Rs 15 crore to get music rights of the film.
The amount fetched by the film is amongst the top 5 of all time however, it has fallen short of two Salman Khan films, Tubelight and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
The SRK film, which has Anushka Sharma playing the lead with him, releases on August 11.
