Amitabh Bachchan sings longer version of National Anthem, courts trouble

A complaint has been filed against Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan at Ashok Nagar Police Station in New Delhi for allegedly singing the National Anthem incorrectly during the India Vs Pakistan World T20 match held at Kolkata's Eden Gardens on Saturday.

The complaint states that Bachchan mispronounced a few words and the anthem lasted for one minute 22 seconds as against the prescribed norms of it being sung for a duration of 52 seconds. A similar complaint was filed against Amitabh Bachchan at Juhu Police Station when he sang the National Anthem at Pro Kabbadi league's inaugural match in .

A few days earlier, Bachchan made news over reports that he charged Rs 4 crore to visit Kolkata and sing the National Anthem. However, CAB president, Sourav Ganguly rubbished all the reports and said that Bachchan did not charge any money for the same and moreover, the actor paid for his own stay and travel.
