The Republic Day 2016 release, Airlift starring Akshay Kumar won lot of accolades from critics and went on to emerge a clean super-hit at the Box-Office.

Many labelled it as Akshay Kumar's career best performance as the superstar dropped down heroism to slip into the character of Ranjit Katyal. However Filmfare 2017 has surprised us since the nomination list of the award show that will be held on 14 January 2017, has completely ignored Airlift.

This isn't the first time when Akshay Kumar has been ignored by the organisers as Khiladi's Baby also failed to get any recognition at the award show.
