Fanney Khan Box Office Collection Day 1: Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer film is totally disappointing

The film starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, Fanney Khan has hit the screens this Friday. There are huge expecatations from the film as it is also a reunion of two leading stars Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai after Taal (1999). The film that is based on the life of struggling father for her daughter to be an singer.
The film that is produced by Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra collected 3 crores on its first day at the box office. This is really shocking for the makers that the film has not made a hype and after the word of mouth also there is not expectations that the film will make big at the box office. Even trade anayst Taran Adrash tweeted on Friday, 'Terrible terrible terrible Friday... New Hindi films open to shockingly low numbers.'

Well, the film is made on huge budget if we see the box office opening because it has to made more than 30 crores from the box office to atleast recover its budget. It looks that it is now a dream for the makers to get atleast 30 crores from the box office.

On the other hand, the film is also having tough competiton with Anubhav Sinha directorial film Mulk starring Rishi Kapoor,Taapsee Pannu and others. Whether Irrfan Khan and Dulquer Salmaan starrer Karwaan is another disaster at the box office.
