Exclusive Pictures: Salman Khan sent to Jodhpur jail after the verdict on blackbuck poaching case; no amenities for the Race 3 actor in the jail
Salman Khan has been sentenced to 5-year jail and also fined Rs 10,000 by Jodhpur court today. He has found guilty in the infamous blackbuck poaching case of 1998. However, the other co-star's actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre were acquitted by the court.
After announcing the quantum of punishment to Salman Khan, now he has been moved to the central jail of Jodhpur. As per the reports, Salman has been kept in a cell close to that of Asaram Bapu. However, no special amenities will be given to the actor which mean no cooler or AC would be provided to him as he will be kept in the simple prison cells like other convicts.
Salman’s lawyers have been filed the bail petition in the Sessions court. As per the reports, Salman has to stay in jail today because of no hearing in sessions court.

This is one of the most controversial and high profile cases of Bollywood as Salman Khan, including other famous actors (with Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam) were also involved in the case. They were charged with the killing of blackbucks, an endangered species protected under Section 51 of Wildlife Protection Act near Kankani village, Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
