Esha Gupta came in the limelight for sharing a picture of a person whom she allegedly accused of inappropriate behaviour at a restaurant in Delhi. She even shared a video of the whole incident in which she can easily be seen sharing the visuals of that person. She asked people to recognize him and let her share his identity on social media.
Esha did the same also but it looks that this move has literally backfired to Esha Gupta. The social media users have started trolling her for sharing the picture of that person. Even some of the also suggested that man to do a defamation case on her for revealing his identity publicly.
Esha Gupta shared the picture of the person and wrote, "the man who thinks staring at a woman all night n making her uncomfortable is ok. He didnot touch me or say anything. But throughout stare. Not as a fan, not Cus m an actor, but because m a Woman. Where are we safe? Is being a woman a curse!"
It’s not about being a celeb. What a normal girl has to go through? How can a man be above the law. I was having dinner. He came much later n took the table opp us. Why is it ok for men to think it is okay— Esha Gupta (@eshagupta2811) July 6, 2019
She also tweeted, "It’s not about being a celeb. What a normal girl has to go through? How can a man be above the law. I was having dinner. He came much later n took the table opp us. Why is it ok for men to think it is okay."
What exactly is above the law here? Taking a table opposite you? Looking at you? You yourself said he didn't say anything to you. Didn't touch you. So what's above the law here? No woman ever stares at a good looking man? Don't make a joke of molestation and rape.— Deepika Bhardwaj (@DeepikaBhardwaj) July 6, 2019
However, the users started trolling her and said that she is doing it for attention and many also said that this person should do a defamation case against her.
On the professional front, Esha Gupta was last seen in the film One Day: Justice Delivered alongside Anupam Kher. However, the film tanked at the box office and even critics didn't respond to it.
