Despite chaos on national grounds, Padmaavat does 'Ghoomar' in the US
Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone starrer 'Padmaavat' has created a lot of stir across India. From the Rajput Karni Sena not wanting the film to release in Rajasthan to Bollywood actors like Swara Bhaskar and Raveena Tandon lashing out at the Jauhar sequence, this movie has been embroiled in controversies ever since its shooting began.
However, it came as a pleasant surprise when a bevy of cheerleaders chose the controversial song Ghoomar for an NBA game recently.
This wasn't all.
Another video that is doing rounds on the internet is of a number of families from the San Francisco Bay Area who bought a whole show of the movie theater (in Sunnyvale, California) to see Padmaavat. They even danced on the song and dressed as Queen Padmavati for their special screening.
