Batti Gul Meter Chalu Box Office Collection Day 2: Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer film maintains decent on second day

Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer film Batti Gul Meter Chalu has been out and the film is performing decently at the box office. The film started at 6.76 crores on day 1 got decent growth on its second day. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film on its second day collected 7.96 crores.

With this, the film now reaches the total collection f 14.72 crores. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#BattiGulMeterChalu witnesses 17.75% growth on Day 2, but since the starting point was low, the 2-day total is lacklustre... Needs miraculous growth on Day 3 - in double digits - for a respectable weekend total... Fri 6.76 cr, Sat 7.96 cr. Total: ₹ 14.72 cr. India biz."

The film is directed by Toilet Ke Prem Katha fame director Shree Narayan Singh and it deals with low electricity and electricity issues in rural areas. The film totally has shot in Tihri, Uttarakhand. The film is made on the budget of approx 50 crores and for that, the film needs to collect more than 70 crores to get a tag of a hit.

The film also stars Divyendu Sharma who plays a pivotal role in the film. Shree Narayan Singh has repeated his many of his actor from his previous film Toilet Ek Prem Katha. Now it has to see will this film collect more than 25 crores in an opening weekend or not.
