Baby on board! Kareena Kapoor Khan-Saif Ali Khan confirm they are expecting their first child

Bollywood has got some happy news!

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have confirmed that they are expecting their first child in December.

The actress has been avoiding questions relating to her pregnancy for a while now. However, she has never denied that she intends to start a family.

In an official statement given to a leading entertainment portal, Saif stated:

"My wife and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child in December. We would like to thank our well wishers for their blessings and support and also the press for their discretion and patience."

Later, Kareena also mentioned the same and said:

"Saif and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child in December. We would like to thank our well wishers for their blessings and support and also the press for their discretion and patience."

Earlier, a source close to the family was quoted saying that Kareena is keen to wrap up all her work related commitments by September this year. Post that, she'll be on a long holiday.

On the work front, the actress will be seen in Rhea Kapoor's chic flick -- Veere Di Wedding with Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania.
