Baaghi 2 box office collection: Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani starrer emerges the biggest opener of 2018 surpassing Sanjay Leela Bhansali' Padmaavat
Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer film Baaghi 2 had a massive start at Box office. The Film had a tremendous first-day collection that has surprised even the most optimistic trade experts. Baaghi 2 opened at Rs 25.10 crore. The first film of the Baaghi series Sabbir Khan directorial was a package of actions and romance, that did quite well at the box office. However, this time Ahmed Khan directorial Baaghi 2 had a kick start on Box office.
Earlier, trade analyst Girish Johar had said, “With Baaghi’s success in 2016 and Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in the lead, audiences are eagerly waiting for this actioner to hit the theatres. The trailer and songs have generated a lot of buzz among cinephiles and the film is going to have a massive opening. It is expected to collect Rs 15 crore on its opening day.”

Sajid Nadiadwala film Baaghi 2 also stars Manoj Bajpai, Randeep Hooda and Deepak Dobriyal. Kick actress Jacqueline Fernandez is also seen in an item number in the film, Ek Do Teen. Confidence with Ahmed Khan's directorial producer Sajid Nadiadwala has already announced about the third instalment. "Writing of Baaghi 3 is still in process and within a month, we will come to know and then we will announce the female lead of the film," he said.
According to reports, Disha Patani will again be paired with Tiger Shroff in Baaghi 3.
According to reports, Baaghi 2 opened up to 50% occupancy in the morning shows and in the evening show, the rate went up to 65%. To top it all, the film has been released in 3500 screens across the country which makes its chances higher to have a bumper start.
