Arshad Warsi's Versova bungalow brought down by BMC
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has destroyed a part of Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi's bungalow in Versova due to illegal construction.
The Bollywood actor had made illegal constructions in the name of renovation in his bungalow which he had purchased from an Air India employee few years back. According to reports, BMC has sent a notice to the actor asking him to remove the construction within 24 hours. Since there was no response from the star, the BMC carried out partial demolition on Monday.
The BMC official said, "We have done a part demolition of the illegally constructed portion as the actor was not present in the bungalow. The remaining illegal construction will be demolished soon."
As per TOI reports, the actor has also confirmed the news of the demolition by BMC.
