Akshay Kumar to shift Padman’s release date?

Akshay might change the release date of his upcoming biopic

 Akshay Kumar is riding high on the success of his latest Independence Day release Toilet- Ek Prem Katha. Since past few years the actor has been releasing his films around Republic Day or Independence Day and it has been working in favour of his films. According to the latest update, although Akshay has announced that his film Padman will release in April, there is a possibility that he will advance the release date and might release it around Republic Day. A source says, “Akshay’s Padman is almost complete and he is once again confident of its subject, he feels Republic Day is the right time to release it. Currently his another release 2.0 which features Rajnikanth is slated to release on same day but due to VFX work, it may not be able meet the release date. So if 2.0 get delayed, Akshay might change the release date of Padman.”

 Akshay has quite a lot of film in his kitty.  At the moment, he is currently shooting in London for his next Independence Day release Gold, where he is said to be essaying a role of Hockey coach. Apart from this, he is expected to begin Karan Johar’s Battle of Saragrahi, and the biopic on Gulshan Kumar, Mogul.
