Four releases for Akshay Kumar next year, including Neeraj Pandey's Rustom

Birthday boy Akshay Kumar announces his third association with director Neeraj Pandey, after the critically acclaimed Special 26 and Baby. Titled Rustom , the film will go on the floors early next year.

Pandey has locked the script of the film which is a romantic thriller,however apart from Khiladi Kumar, the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised. Pandey will take a final call on the casting once he has wrapped up shooting for MS Dhoni: The Untold Story by December this year.

Akshay Kumar is currently busy shooting for Housefull 3 in London and is expected to finish the London schedule by November, after which he comes back to Mumbai to shoot for some other pivotal portions of the film.

As Rustom is scheduled for a 12 August, 2016, release, it will certainly benefit from the Independence Day holiday. For Akshay Kumar, 2016 seems as promising as 2015 as yet again he is looking forward to four releases, much like this year.
