The film has trended decently over the weekend and has managed to rake in Rs 5.49 crore on Saturday and Rs 5.52 crore on Sunday, which is quite the improvement from its shaky start at the box office. The India v/s South Africa cricket match affected the magnitude of the expected jump on Sunday as without the match, the film had the potential to touch the Rs 6 crore mark.
Day-wise box office collections:
- Friday: Rs 4.23 crore
- Saturday: Rs 5.49 crore
- Sunday: Rs 5.52 crore
- Total: Rs 15.24 crore
With over 50% of the total collections coming in from Mumbai and Delhi, it is safe to say that the film is doing well in this circuit. Jazbaa's collections are higher than other recent commercial women-centric films like NH-10 (Rs 13.30 crore) and Mardaani (Rs 14.29 crore). A Rs 3 crore plus figure on Monday will ensure a steady trend over the weekdays at the box office.
