Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan, was recently granted an Universal Adult (U/A) certificate by the Censor Board.
According to media reports, the CBFC had issues with three intimate scenes picturised on Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The board asked Karan Johar to dilute the content as the visuals were labelled as being too bold for the Indian audience.
While there is no confirmation on the runtime of the film, sources reveal that it is approximately 2 hours, 25 minutes long. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is slated to hit the big screen this Diwali, where it will clash with Ajay Devgn's Shivaay.
An official confirmation from the producers on the censor board report is awaited.
