Aamir Khan shares the first poster of Secret Superstar

In 2016, the actor had revealed the teaser of the film starring Zaira Wasim who was last seen in Dangal as one of Aamir's daughters.

The poster has a tagline, "Dream Dekhna Toh Basic Hota Hai" where Zaira is seen walking on a bridge in a school uniform and a backpack with a mic hanging outside. She plays a 14-year-old girl who wants to be a singer, but her father wouldn't let her be.

Along with the poster, the actor also revealed that the trailer will be out on August 2.

The film is directed by debutant Advait Chandan who has been Aamir's assistant for a long time. Produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Zee Studios and Akash Chawla the film is slated to release in October.
