The shooting of Shah Rukh KhanAnushka Sharma’s next film, reportedly titled Raula has been wrapped up and we hear that Sony Music has acquired the music rights for this film for a whooping amount.

According to sources, the music label has shelled out a record breaking sum for the films music which is composed by Pritam. Raula, which is a coming of age film, has tremendous scope for music and Pritam has composed as many as 6 songs for the Imtiaz Ali directorial.

While all songs have already been recorded, the team will soon shoot for a special Punjabi dance number at a studio in Mumbai. The inside reports about the music of this film are on the positive side.

Recently, Sony Music acquired the music rights of Tubelight for approximately Rs 20 crore. While the exact amount of the deal between Red Chillies and Sony Music isn’t out yet, we presume that this one is sold for a much higher amount than Tubelight, given the scope for music in the film.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film is slated for an August 11 release.
