A video of a ‘mysterious 65-feet black creature’ is being widely shared in China. The video from China's Yangtze river went viral on social media and comparisons were being drawn to a mythical Loch Ness monster of Scotland. However, scientists rubbished the theories and said it was probably a giant water snake, according to The Guardian.

Later, it turned out to be a 65-feet long giant industrial airbag and it was proved that it was not a formidable creature as people initially thought.

A video was shared on social media with a caption that read, “Water #MONSTERS in the Three Gorges? Netizens speculated that the giant mysterious creature might be a fish or a big snake. Experts believe it is unlike living animals, more like floating objects.”

Workers at a ferry pier fished out the giant object which looked like a long piece of black tubing discarded from a shipyard. The speculations of it being a large water monster came to an end as it was not a ‘Three Gorges Water Monster’ as people initially thought.
