A quite surprising incident has come to light from UAE where an Emirati woman woke up from a coma after 27 years of her car accident.
The woman identified as Munira Abdulla was met with a car accident in 1991 along with her son, Omar Webair. When the accident took place, Munira was just 32-year-old and her son was 4-year-old.
As per the reports, she went to pick up her son from school. While returning back to home, their car got collided into a school bus due to which Munira suffered from serious brain injury due to which she went in a coma.
While her son was suffered from minor injuries on his head. However, doctors who were doing her treatment called her recovery as ‘miracle’ because they have no hope about her well-being.
Here’s what she said after waking up from coma:
An Emirati woman called out the name of her son after waking up from a coma.
Her son Omar said, ‘I never gave up on her because I always had a feeling that one day she will wake up.’
‘I was four when the accident happened and we used to live in Al Ain,’ Omar added.
He also told that on the day of the accident, there was a bus at school to take him home. His mother was sitting with him on the back seat of the car. She hugged him after seeing the crash coming to them, said media reports.
‘There were no mobile phones and we could not call an ambulance,’ Omar revealed about the accident.
However, his mother is like gold for him and, hence, she is more important for him.
Because of Munira’s condition, Omar was not able to do the job properly but somehow he could manage to be by her side.
This heartfelt case has also taken the attention of UAE’s Crown Prince Court and they helped the family by granting to take care of the bills of treatment.
Meanwhile, Munira is much better. Recently, she also visited the Shiekh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
