Elephant steals a bunch of bananas from truck in hilarious way; video goes viral
A video of an elephant stealing a bunch of bananas from a truck has gone viral online. In the video, an elephant can be seen in the middle of a road and then stopped a bus.
The brazen daylight robbery was caught on camera by a passenger inside the bus.
The quirky video was filmed in Kataragama, Sri Lanka which showed the bus driver slowing down on approaching the elephant which stood in the middle of a road.
As the driver stopped the bus, the jumbo put its trunk inside the bus through the window in search of food. Soon, he managed to get the banana with his huge trunk. While passengers on the bus were heard laughing and also some left in shock as the animal scrambled for food.
After a little bit of struggle, the animal got a bunch of bananas.
The viral video was recorded in 2018 and was shared by IFS officer Parveen Kaswan on Twitter. He captioned the video, “Daylight robbery on a highway. A forward.”
