Karan Johar to produce Student Of The Year spin-off show for Netflix

Karan Johar is hitting the headlines since the news of Asim Riaz joining the bandwagon of Student Of The Year franchise started doing rounds on all entertainment platform. The Dharma Production’s SOTY starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra received immense applaud from the audience and this motivated Karan to venture into the franchise with another set of newcomers that released last year.

Now the latest update is doing rounds that Karan’s Dharma Production is all set to develop a spin-off show based on SOTY for Netflix. Well, yes you read it right as per Bollywood Hungama the cast for the show has not yet been locked.

Talking about the show currently, it's on the initial stage where scrip is being written and once its ready they will start the hunt for the cast of the show. As per sources, the spin-off show will be helmed by Raj Mehta who directed recently released film Good Newwz starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.

Well, makers have yet not confirmed the news but as per sources in coming days they will make the announcement along with Netflix. Now, this sounds exciting let's see who all bag this big offer, so get ready SOTY fans Karan is coming for you on Netflix.
