Trump's grossest tweet ever, praises himself on the great Memorial Day
For US President Donald Trump, Memorial Day is nothing but giving a pat on his own back. His tweet said it all, he is being mocked on social media for posting the most ridiculous tweet.
In the tweet, he wrote, "Happy Memorial Day! Those who died for our great country would be very happy and proud at how well our country is doing today. Best economy in decades, lowest unemployment numbers for Blacks and Hispanics EVER (& women in 18years), rebuilding our Military and so much more. Nice!"

He was backlashed as a lot of people expressed shock. Some ridiculed him for endorsement of dead veterans. Many believed that Trump's tweet on this auspicious day was the most inappropriate #MemorialDay comment
Tammy Duckworth, who lost both legs in combat tweeted, "This #MemorialDay, we remember the brave men & women who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we cherish. We must never forget their service and sacrifice& we must do all we can to honour their courage by upholding our duty to support our Veterans, servicemembers&their families."
Many people question this president, but it’s no small achievement to write the grossest, most inappropriate, most self-flattering Memorial Day message in the history of the US presidency https://t.co/t8JN7JNwdg

Calling Trump's tweet the grossest tweet made by any President, Frum tweeted “the grossest, most inappropriate, most self-flattering Memorial Day message in the history of the US presidency.”
This day, of all days of the year, should not be about any one of us. No matter how prestigious or powerful, no matter how successful we perceive ourselves to be. Rather, this day should be about those who gave their lives so that we could live ours in freedom. #MemorialDay

A retired Army General Martin Dempsey also tweeted, “This day, of all days of the year, should not be about any one of us. No matter how prestigious or powerful, no matter how successful we perceive ourselves to be.”
