Shocking! Jennifer Winget's co-star in 'Beyhadh' booked for rape
Popular daily soap became quite famous because of the different concept and also because of the amazing characters that were played by the actors in the show. A popular actor from the show has been arrested and rape charges have been filed against him.
Television actor Piyush Sahdev was last seen in the Sony TV's daily soap has been arrested by the Mumbai police and the police have kept him custody till November 27 and after that his case will go forward for further proceedings.
A closed source the Indian Express.com, “The model has accused Piyush of raping her. After she filed a case with the Versova police, Piyush was picked up from his house and arrested. As of now, the police have put him in custody until November 27, and he won’t be given a bail till then.”
The news also got confirmed by Kiran Kamle who is the investigating officer in the case. He told the portal that an FIR has also been filed against him on November 20 and he was arrested on November 22.
Piyush recently came into news when he divorced his wife Akangsha Rawat. When he was asked about the same, he said, “Yes, we have been staying separately for some time now and are also heading for a divorce. Since the case is sub-judice, we are not allowed to speak about it. I don’t want to get into any more details as of now.”
There were also rumors that Piyush is having an affair with someone on the sets of 'Beyhadh'. When asked about the same, he said, “Those are baseless rumours. I am already going through a very rough phase in my life and all these rumours just add up to my misery. It’s a humble request to everyone to not spread such fake rumours and add fuel to the fire.”
Piyush was last seen playing the role of antagonist named Samay in Beyhadh. He was also in news for his change after he lost 38 kilos. Not only in Beyhadh, he was also seen in popular shows like Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Geet and Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai.
