WWE: John Cena nominated for Muhammad Ali Humanitarian award

WWE superstar John Cena has been nominated as one of the four finalists for 2018  Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award. Others named for this awards are Doug Baldwin, JJ Watts, and Kevin Durrant.

This annual sports Humanitarian award is one the most prestigious award which is given to sports stars who brought a difference in the world.

Cena is not only known for his powerpack performance but also for his humanitarian work for less fortunate and especially children. He has a record registered in his name for fulfilling the wish of some 500 people with his Make-a-Wish foundation. Winner's name would be announced on July 17th.

Post his Royal Rumble match with Triple H, he hasn't appeared on the show.

Any child who has a life-threatening medical condition( 3-17) is eligible for a wish. Keeping in mind the child’s treatment and other concerns, the wish would be fulfilled. 

John Cena holds the title for the most wishes granted by a single individual, with over 500 wishes. This follows singer Justin Bieber over 250 wishes.
