The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee has lodged a complaint with the police against Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant Babu Kavlekar "for posting vulgar video on a Whatsapp group in the name and style 'Villages of Goa'."

According to the complaint filed by the GPCC at the Panaji police station, Kavlekar had posted the "vulgar video" on the Whatsapp group, which it alleges has many females as members, at 1.20 am on Monday.

Requesting the police to file an FIR, Congress further alleged that the act comes within the scope and ambit of sections of Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act.
