Comedy Pet Photography Award 2017 entries: Look at these goofy creatures!

Pets are totally amazing, no disputing that. Goofy, loving, and always upto something comic,pets are a constant source of entertainment.

They make great models, especially at their funny best. It's no surprise then that pet owners love taking pictures of their furry friends.

Thanks to the millions of funny pet photos, pet parents now have a place to compete, thanks to the truly delightful Comedy Pet Photography Awards.

It has been just 8 weeks since its launch and the organising team has already received a barrage of rib tickling contenders on a global scale, including shots of mid-air freeze frame of cat jumping onto his twin, a cat napping in a dessert bowl, and a Terrier reclining in a bicycle pannier.

The competition, which is open for entries until 31 May and "free to enter", has sparked interest from people from different corners of the globe.

All the entries will be judged independently by the panel of judges, and the overall winner will receive a cash prize of ₤2,000, a Think Tank Camera Bag with ₤100 gift voucher from Wex Photographic. The competition is being supported by the Animal Welfare Foundation and the Humane Society of the United States.
