Watch Video: Apple iPhone 6 burst into flames in moving car

It is now becoming a common thing that people turn on their video camera while driving just to capture moments.

But this time, something unexpected happened.

The camera caught something that the girl never expected.

In this incident, a woman’s iPhone 6 suddenly catches fire in her moving car. It has been told earlier also that fake spare parts like batteries in your smartphones can lead to disaster.

The incident occurred on August 1 in Shanghai, China, inside a moving car in broad daylight. A dashcam video caught everything, shared by Thrillist (via EEC media), shows an iPhone 6 placed on the car’s dashboard suddenly burst into flames as the woman who was driving kept screaming in panic.

Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident except that smartphone which went toast after burning for a few seconds.

The occupants of the car (the woman and her husband) weren’t injured. But, if the smartphone exploded, things could’ve been a lot worse.

According to the woman’s husband, he had gotten the battery of the smartphone replaced at a repair shop in February, only to realise later that it was not an original Apple one. It’s this same counterfeit battery that led to the iPhone 6 catching fire spontaneously in a moving car.

The incident clearly tells why it’s important to always get original parts of your machine. It would cost you a little more but not your life. And it applies to everything (whether it’s batteries, or anything else) for all our digital devices.
